MYSELF AND WAYNE LEESON COMPLETED THE COAST TO COAST ON MONDAY 26 MAY 2008 TIRED BUT FULL OF THE FACT WE HAD CROSSED ENGLAND 140 MILES ON A MOUNTAIN BIKE
Welcome to the web site of the coast to coast mountain bike ride in aid of the Derbyshire,Leicestershire and Rutland air ambulance.
It was just going to be a nice challenge to do the coast to coast but we decided why not do it for a worthy cause anybody could need the air ambulance and as a diver and mountain biker and scooterist it could be called upon at any time.
Two of us Wayne Leeson and Mark Willoughby(from loughborough)will be undertaking the 140 coast to coast ride from whitehaven in cumbria to newcastle upon tyne over the whitsun bank holiday May 2008,Taking 4 days to complete.
We are totally funding this challenge ourselfs through the cycle tour company skedaddle...All we are asking for is people or companys that would like to make a donation to the Air ambulance...A worthy cause we think as this ambulance is totally self funded getting no government aid.
